简介
柯伟尧博士毕业于美国杜克大学,研究方向为高能核物理理论,主要从事高能重离子碰撞、电子离子对撞机的唯象学研究。他的理论研究兴趣包括发展喷注与介质相互作用的有效理论,有限温度下部分子的输运理论,相对论性流体力学与动理学理论等。他开发了模拟高能核碰撞中喷注和重夸克与夸克胶子等离子体相互作用的部分子输运模拟程序LIDO,以及电子离子对撞机上包含核物质修正的事件发生器eHIJING,这些模拟程序推动了基于高能核对撞数据的理论检验以及对未来电子离子对撞机的与研究工作。他也注重利用先进的统计学与机器学习方法系统化理论模型与实验数据的对比,从而从复杂的对撞机数据中确定极端条件下核物质的特性。
